It’s like taking classes, except customized, and flexible.
Over the course of a single Study Hall expect to see day 1 beginners tuning into a small-group lesson to start mastering the fundamentals, seasoned artists trying new techniques with real time feedback, and everything in between.
Regardless of your level, Study Hall is the ideal structure not just for skill development, but creating meaningful connections with other makers around shared passion. And the best part: access to Study Hall is included with membership!

Clay Curious is a great way to get a feel for our studio, learn how to throw on the wheel, and have a good time!
In Ocean Beach, Monday nights are a FUN way to get a taste of authentic studio life. You will get to join other members during our weekly Study Hall. During these nights, our studio is open as normal and members around you will be working on their own projects. Staff will bring you (and any other brand new members) step by step through the process on the wheel.
Wednesday nights in Ocean Beach and Thursday nights in Encinitas are our larger group lessons when the studio is otherwise closed. Our instructor begins with a full demo for the class; then students will follow along each step for the second run through.
All evenings are from 6-730 PM and nothing is kept unless you decide to want to join our studio (returning to learn the next steps in the process)—otherwise just play and enjoy!
If you decide to join after the evening, your $65 ticket is FULLY applied to your first month’s membership at either studio location!
Make sure you select the correct location and day of the week based on what experience you are hoping for.
